One of the key indicators of the Graduate Quality Index is time to employment. It measures how long it takes a graduate to secure a job after receiving their diploma.
According to the national data, the average time to employment across Uzbekistan is 2 months and 27 days.
By type of higher education institution:
▫️ Private universities – 2 months and 10 days
▫️ Public universities – 2 months and 29 days
▫️ Branches of foreign universities – 3 months and 20 days
However, employment outcomes vary considerably across individual universities.
Universities where graduates found jobs the fastest:

➖ Webster University in Tashkent – 1 month and 8 days
➖ Nordic International University – 1 month and 14 days
➖ Tashkent Branch of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics – 1 month and 17 days
➖ Andijan State University – 1 month and 18 days
Universities with longer graduate employment periods:
➖ Tashkent Branch of the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography – 5 months and 21 days
➖ Urgench Branch of the Uzbekistan State Academy of Choreography – 6 months and 1 day
➖ Tashkent Branch of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas – 5 months and 21 days
➖ ISFT Institute – 5 months and 13 days
➖ Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute – 5 months and 10 days
