The results of accreditation of educational programs of joint educational institutions established with foreign states, as well as branches of foreign educational institutions operating in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, are recognized where such programs have been accredited by the competent authority in the home country of the parent educational institution. What measures are applied to an educational institution that has not passed comprehensive state accreditation?
An educational institution that has not passed comprehensive state accreditation is granted a period of six (6) months to address the identified shortcomings. Where the shortcomings are not remedied, the Agency (NQAAE) submits a recommendation to the relevant ministry, agency, or organization under the institution’s oversight, and, in the case of a non-governmental educational institution, to its founder, regarding whether the institution’s management should continue in office.
Where do learners continue their studies if an educational institution is terminated (license revoked) or an educational program is closed?
Learners studying at a terminated educational institution (license revoked) or within a closed educational program are transferred, in accordance with the established procedure, to corresponding or related fields of study and specialties at public or non-governmental educational institutions. This process is carried out by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation in cooperation with relevant ministries and agencies.
