To enhance the professional knowledge and competencies of its staff, the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education organized a seminar-training on the topic “The Current State and Future Development Prospects of the National Qualifications System.”

During the seminar, the Director of the National Institute for the Development of the National Qualifications System and the Institute’s responsible specialists delivered presentations on the ongoing reforms aimed at developing the National Qualifications System in Uzbekistan, the achievements attained to date, the current institutional framework, and the key strategic priorities for its future development.

The discussions also focused on the roles and activities of the 24 sectoral councils currently operating within the system, as well as on ensuring the coherent integration of the entire qualifications ecosystem: labour market forecasting → the National Qualifications Framework → sectoral qualifications frameworks → occupational standards → qualification standards → educational programmes → qualifications assessment and recognition.

The seminar-training provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of the National Qualifications System and its future development priorities, while contributing to the enhancement of their professional knowledge and practical competencies in this field.
