Ranking of higher education institutions by their ability to attract international students

A ranking of higher education institutions based on their level of international student enrolment has been developed across four categories: practical, social sciences and humanities, creative and sports, and medical institutions.

An analysis of international students by groups of countries based on citizenship shows:

16,175 students (65.6%) – citizens of other countries;

7,323 students (29.7%) – citizens of Central Asian countries;

1,149 students (4.7%) – citizens of high-income countries according to the World Bank classification.

It is worth noting that 24,647 international students from more than 50 countries are currently studying at higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. Source
