The current state of dual education in technical colleges has been analysed.

A total of 442,227 students are enrolled in the 679 technical colleges covered by the analysis. Of these, 60,654 students, or 13.7 percent, are enrolled in dual education.

Notably, 27,962 students enrolled in dual education are concentrated in just three occupations and specialisations. This accounts for 46.1 percent of all students enrolled in dual education:

➖ Preschool education teacher – 10,931 students;

➖ Vehicle repair and maintenance – 9,131 students;

➖ Tailor – 7,900 students.

The analysis examines dual education coverage by region, technical college, level of education, occupation and specialisation.

The target is to increase the share of technical college students enrolled in dual education to 40 percent by 2030.
