A meeting was held between representatives of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Education under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and representatives of AQA Global Assessment Services.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Education Bakhtiyor Yuldashev, First Deputy Director Amirulla Abdullayev, group leaders, head of international business development of AQA Global Assessment Services Syed Shah, Deputy Director Shaun Smith, and regional assessment expert Vali Huseyn.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation aimed at introducing international experience in the field of quality assurance of education, strengthening the national system, and developing human capital. The parties noted that this meeting will serve as an important basis for establishing long-term and systematic cooperation in the future.
Following the meeting, it was agreed to work together in the following areas:
• Development and implementation of capacity building programs for employees of the Agency and higher education institutions responsible for the quality of education;
• Development and improvement of the methodology for rating higher education institutions;
• Introduction of modern approaches to analyzing the results of questionnaires used to assess the quality of education;
• Joint development of curricula for secondary specialized and vocational education;
• Development of national qualification standards in line with international standards.
