Employers’ Feedback Being Studied in the Khorezm Region

A meeting was held at Urgench State University with the participation of vice-rectors of higher education institutions in the Khorezm Region and heads of departments responsible for ensuring the quality of education.

The meeting focused on the substance, objectives, and key tasks of the National Employer Survey, which is being conducted nationwide, as well as matters related to its effective organization and implementation.

During the discussion, the importance of systematically collecting and analyzing employers’ feedback on graduates’ professional preparedness, practical skills, ability to work effectively in a team, decision-making in challenging situations, as well as analytical and critical thinking competencies was emphasized.

Particular attention was also given to ensuring broad participation of employers in the survey, objectively and accurately reflecting their views and recommendations, conducting an in-depth analysis of the results, and making effective use of the findings to further improve the quality of education.

As emphasized during the meeting, the results of the National Employer Survey will serve as an important analytical basis for further aligning educational programmes with the needs of the modern labour market and employer expectations, strengthening the practical orientation of the educational process, and enhancing graduates’ professional competencies and competitiveness.

Furthermore, it was noted that the survey process will contribute to taking cooperation between higher education institutions and employers to a new level, strengthening the alignment of educational content with professional practice, and improving the effectiveness of training competitive professionals equipped with up-to-date knowledge, strong practical skills, and essential professional competencies that are in high demand in the labour market.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the responsible personnel were provided with relevant guidance and recommendations on ensuring the high-quality and effective implementation of the National Employer Survey in accordance with established requirements, expanding employer participation, and ensuring the objectivity and reliability of the survey results.
