As part of the Nationwide Employer Survey conducted by the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, field studies were carried out at organisations where graduates of Bukhara State University are currently employed.
The first site visited was the Bukhara Regional Tourism Department. During the study, the views and recommendations of employers regarding the professional training, practical skills, suitability for their current positions, and performance of more than 10 Bukhara State University graduates working at the organisation were reviewed.
The next site visited was the “Bukhoro Varnet” Agro-Ecotourism Cluster, where 18 Bukhara State University graduates are currently employed. The study analysed employers’ assessments of their professional competencies, practical training, ability to use modern technologies, and adaptability to production processes.
Particular attention was also paid to the outcomes of the scientific and practical cooperation between “Bukhoro Varnet” and Bukhara State University. In particular, the introduction of beneficial entomophages cultivated at the university’s “Agrobiological Protection” Laboratory into the company’s greenhouses is contributing to the production of environmentally safe and high-quality products. This cooperation represents an important practical example of the effective integration of “education – science – production.”
The main objective of the Nationwide Employer Survey is to assess graduates’ acquired knowledge, skills and competencies based directly on employers’ evaluations, analyse their performance in the workplace, and further align the workforce training process with the needs of the labour market.
The data collected through these field studies will serve as an important basis for developing relevant proposals and recommendations aimed at improving educational programmes, strengthening the practical training of graduates, and aligning educational content more closely with the actual requirements of the labour market.
