The delegation of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education participated in the second forum of rectors of universities of Uzbekistan and Italy as part of its official visit to Italy.

It discussed the possibilities of expanding joint educational programs through a transparent accreditation system.

During the visit, a meeting was held with representatives of the Central and Eastern European Management Development Association (CEEMAN), where issues of attracting international experts in the management field and improving accreditation processes were discussed.

A meeting was also held with a representative of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and the Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Systems (ANVUR).

During the negotiations, issues of organizing joint seminars and trainings with ANVUR, establishing expert exchange and advanced training programs, and establishing cooperation with ENQA on introducing advanced European experience in accreditation processes were discussed.

In addition, an agreement was signed with CIMEA, which works on the evaluation of foreign educational documents, mutual recognition of diplomas and qualifications, and support for academic mobility.

This is an important step towards the international recognition of diplomas from our country's universities.
