During a presentation to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on measures to enhance graduate employment, a proposal was put forward to ensure the professional operation of career centers at higher education institutions.

Under the new approach, professional standards for career center personnel will be developed, serving as the basis for the introduction of a training, professional development, and certification system.

The effectiveness of career centers will no longer be measured merely by their existence, but by tangible outcomes in graduate employment. The primary objective is to bridge the gap between obtaining a diploma and securing a job.

The performance of career centers will also be assessed as part of the state accreditation process for higher education institutions. Evaluation criteria will include the existence of the center, the certification status of its staff, and, most importantly, its practical contribution to graduate employment.

Career centers are expected to become a vital link between educational institutions and employers, while also playing an active role in advancing the dual education system.
