A meeting was held between the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and the Embassy of the United States of America on expanding cooperation in the field of quality assurance in education.

During the meeting, the issues of developing cooperation with leading accreditation organizations in the United States, as well as establishing training and professional development programs in the field of quality assurance in education were discussed in detail. The parties emphasized the importance of exchanging experience in these areas and introducing advanced international practices into the national system.

In particular, special attention was paid to increasing the number of internationally accredited educational programs in higher education institutions of Uzbekistan, ensuring their compliance with international requirements and labor market needs. It was noted that cooperation with reputable accreditation organizations in the United States in this process will serve to improve the quality of educational programs.

Also, during the meeting, agreements were reached on involving specialists from leading US universities and accreditation organizations in accreditation processes in Uzbekistan, participating in assessment visits, and providing expert and advisory support.

This meeting was aimed at bringing cooperation with the US in the field of quality assurance of education to a new level, introducing international accreditation mechanisms, and bringing the national education system into line with international standards
