A total of 20 staff members of the National Quality Assurance Agency for Education have successfully completed a three-month professional English language development course delivered under the Regional English Language Office (RELO) Program of the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan.
The training was conducted online by Ida Williams, an English language specialist, and focused on strengthening the participants’ professional English language skills essential for international cooperation, as well as enhancing their ability to participate effectively in international meetings, negotiations, and professional discussions with international partners.
The course employed interactive and practice-oriented teaching methods, including practical assignments, group discussions, role-play exercises, presentations, and case studies based on real-world professional situations. These activities helped participants further develop their listening comprehension, speaking, analytical thinking, presentation, and professional communication skills in English.
This is not the first professional development initiative delivered to Agency staff under the RELO Program. Previously, 10 Agency staff members successfully completed a Business English course organized under the same program.
The cooperation has also contributed to strengthening the Agency’s international expert network. As a further practical outcome, 41 international specialists were added to the Agency’s database of international external evaluation experts through the RELO network, further enhancing the Agency’s international expert capacity and supporting its expanding international cooperation framework.
