FIBAA is an international accreditation foundation established in 1994 at the initiative of business schools in Germany and Switzerland, specializing primarily in the evaluation of educational programs in business, management, economics, and law. The Agency is headquartered in Bonn, Germany. FIBAA is recognized by the German Accreditation Council and operates in accordance with the ESG standards of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
FIBAA provides programmatic accreditation, institutional accreditation, and assessment of quality assurance systems. The evaluation process is conducted through a peer-review mechanism involving international experts and industry representatives. The assessment criteria include curriculum quality, international orientation, integration with practice, faculty capacity, and graduates’ labor market outcomes.
FIBAA is a member of ENQA and is listed in EQAR, and its accreditation decisions are recognized in Europe and other regions.
