Today, 23 October, the inaugural meeting of the Public Council under the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education was held, bringing together representatives from various sectors to discuss issues related to the quality of education.

The Council was established to foster dialogue between the Agency and the public on education quality, provide a platform for discussing diverse perspectives and proposals, and broaden public participation in reforms across the sector.

The Council comprises scholars, representatives of the mass media, specialists in education and artificial intelligence, and representatives of other civil society institutions.

The meeting was held in an open and constructive atmosphere. Participants exchanged views on the Agency’s key areas of activity, ongoing reforms aimed at ensuring education quality, ways to strengthen cooperation with the public, and the Council’s priority areas of work.

The agenda also included the election of the Chair and two Deputy Chairs of the Public Council:

➖ Azamat Akbarov — Executive Director of Silk Road Research Academy, Doctor of Science, Professor (Chair);

➖ Barnogul Sanakulova — Doctor of Economics, Professor (Deputy Chair);

➖ Saida Halilova — Head of Communications and Strategy at the Central Asian Artificial Intelligence Association (Deputy Chair).

Each Council member presented practical proposals and solutions aimed at improving the quality of education.
