The National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education, in cooperation with representatives of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, conducted field studies at major organizations and enterprises in the region as part of the National Employer Survey.

As part of the fieldwork, visits were made to the Samarkand Regional Tax Department, the Samarkand branch of Hamkorbank JSCB, Azia Metall Prof LLC, and Mini Max Finance.

During the visits, meetings were held with employers to gather their views and assessments regarding the professional preparedness of graduates, the level of their practical skills, their adaptation to the workplace, and the extent to which their qualifications correspond to the positions they currently hold.

Particular attention was paid to employers’ feedback and recommendations concerning graduates’ professional and practical competencies, their effectiveness in the workplace, and their ability to adapt to the requirements of modern jobs.

The data collected through the survey will serve as an important source for assessing the alignment of educational programmes with labour market needs, identifying areas for improving graduates’ professional preparedness, and developing evidence-based recommendations aimed at enhancing the quality of education.

The National Employer Survey is designed to systematically assess the actual needs and expectations of employers, strengthen cooperation between educational institutions and the labour market, and further align educational content with current professional requirements.

The opinions and recommendations received during the field studies in Samarkand will be analysed and taken into account in the process of compiling the overall survey results.

Field studies under the National Employer Survey are also continuing in other regions of the country. The results of this comprehensive process will contribute to strengthening the link between education and the labour market, preparing competitive graduates equipped with the skills required by the modern labour market, and identifying practical measures to further improve the quality of education.
