Dr. Bakhtiyor Gayradjonovich Yuldashev is an experienced public sector leader and higher education policymaker with expertise in education governance, public finance, innovation, institutional development, and international cooperation. He currently serves as Director of the National Quality Assurance Agency for Education under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, where he leads the Agency's strategic efforts to strengthen quality assurance, accreditation, and the internationalization of Uzbekistan's education system.
Throughout his career, Dr. Yuldashev has held senior positions across key government institutions, including the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, the Agency of Presidential Educational Institutions, and New Uzbekistan University. His professional experience spans public financial management, international economic cooperation, investment policy, higher education reform, research management, and institutional innovation.
As Vice Rector for Innovation and Research at New Uzbekistan University, he led initiatives to strengthen the university's research ecosystem, promote innovation, develop international partnerships, and foster collaboration between academia, industry, and government. His participation in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) program on Innovation Ecosystems in Universities further enhanced his expertise in university innovation, technology commercialization, and research-driven institutional development.
As Director of the National Quality Assurance Agency for Education, Dr. Yuldashev is responsible for advancing national policies on educational quality assurance, accreditation, institutional evaluation, and international cooperation. Under his leadership, the Agency is strengthening its alignment with international quality assurance standards and expanding collaboration with leading global organizations and accreditation agencies.
