About

Dr. Christina Ng is a highly experienced education professional, quality assurance specialist, and higher education leader with more than 30 years of experience in higher education, vocational education and training, accreditation, and institutional development.

Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Ng has held academic, management, and leadership positions across universities, quality assurance agencies, and training organizations in Hong Kong. Her expertise spans quality assurance, accreditation, qualifications frameworks, vocational and professional education, programme development, and organizational management.

Dr. Ng began her academic career in higher education and taught at several leading universities, including Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, City University of Hong Kong, and the Education University of Hong Kong. During this period, she was actively involved in teaching, curriculum development, educational research, and programme management.

She later joined the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ), the statutory accreditation authority of Hong Kong. For more than a decade, she served as Head of the Vocational and Professional Accreditation Unit, leading accreditation activities for vocational, professional, and continuing education programmes. In this role, she played a key role in strengthening quality assurance frameworks and enhancing confidence in qualifications and educational standards across Hong Kong.

Currently, Dr  Ng focuses on corporate development and strategic initiatives within HKCAAVQ while also serving as an independent Educational Consultant. Her work includes advising institutions on quality assurance, accreditation, qualifications frameworks, and emerging developments in higher education.

Before joining HKCAAVQ, Dr. Ng served as Senior Manager at the Employees Retraining Board of Hong Kong, where she was responsible for the development, management, and quality oversight of more than 700 vocational training programmes.
