Andrew Main Wilson is an internationally recognized business education leader and senior executive currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and the Business Graduates Association (BGA), two of the world’s leading accreditation and membership organizations for business schools.

Since assuming leadership of AMBA and BGA in 2013, he has overseen the expansion of one of the largest global business school accreditation networks. Under his leadership, AMBA accredits 300 leading business schools across over 70 countries, while BGA supports and accredits over 350 member business schools and almost 100 accredited business schools, all committed to responsible management education and continuous improvement.

With more than three decades of executive leadership experience, Andrew Main Wilson has built a distinguished career spanning higher education, professional membership organizations, corporate governance, financial services, and international business development. His work focuses on advancing excellence in management education, strengthening global business school networks, promoting responsible leadership, and fostering international collaboration.

Before joining AMBA and BGA, he served in senior executive positions at the Institute of Directors (IoD), including Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of IoD Enterprises, where he played a key role in expanding membership services, corporate training, and international business engagement. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles in financial services and the travel industries, including Sales and Marketing Director at Citibank Diners Club and Marketing and Commercial Director of Thomas Cook.

Andrew Main Wilson is also recognized globally for his contributions to responsible management education. Between 2016 and 2018, he served as Chairman of the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), helping to strengthen collaboration between business schools, industry, and international organizations on sustainability and responsible leadership initiatives.
