Rukhsora Abdurakhmanova is an experienced higher education professional specializing in strategic development, international cooperation, higher education management, and institutional development. She currently serves as Head of the Strategic Development and International Cooperation Group at the National Quality Assurance Agency for Education under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, where she leads the Agency's international engagement, strategic partnerships, and institutional development initiatives.
Throughout her career, Ms. Abdurakhmanova has held leadership and professional positions across higher education institutions, international organizations, the private sector, and government agencies. Her expertise includes higher education policy, international partnerships, academic administration, strategic planning, business development, and international project management.
Prior to joining the National Quality Assurance Agency, she served as Head of the Strategic Development and International Rankings Department at the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, where she coordinated strategic planning initiatives and activities related to international education rankings.
From 2023 to 2025, Ms. Abdurakhmanova served as Vice Rector for International Cooperation and Research at Angren University, leading the university's internationalization strategy, expanding global academic partnerships, and promoting research collaboration.
Earlier in her career, she worked at Inha University in Tashkent, where she gained extensive experience in academic administration and student admissions. She also held business development positions at PLUS Corporation and the international recruitment and consulting company Robert Walters, strengthening her expertise in international stakeholder engagement and organizational development.
